Designed and researched a custom course platform for a large organization, leading UX and coordinating with development to build an internal learning management system. The project’s success secured funding for future development phases.

A major enterprise with 100K+ employees needed a fast, scalable training platform to upskill teams across engineering, maintenance, and mechanics. It had to have reusable components to accommodate both admins and students.

I focused on maximizing role flexibility, streamlining course structures, and ensuring delivery speed without compromising quality.

User Research
Findings

Given the tight timeline, I prioritized competitive analysis and rapid desk research to quickly gain domain knowledge and understand user expectations—accelerating strategic decision-making from day one.

Analysis Insights

✔️ Blackboard Learn incorporated different methods to help instructors effectively manage their course-related files & documents.

✔️ Coursera has a forum for each course to allow admins to share announcements for the students enrolled in a course.

✔️ Udemy allows their instructors to upload a wide range of material types, including links.

✔️ Google Classroom and Blackboard Learn meet the need for pushing out important information via their announcement feature.
